Minis On Top

For those of you who really know me, you know I'm a little nutty about my MINI Cooper. And most other MINI Cooper owners are just as crazy. So every year for the past couple there has been an even called Minis On Top, where in the end of June about 200-350 Minis converge on a small town in northern New Hampshire for some really fun twisty rides to conclude with a ride up the Mount Washington Auto Road. Last year when we went up it was really foggy, so we couldn't really see anything. This year it was windy enough that as soon as the fog came in, the wind blew it away.
Jamie drove up this year so I could take some pictures. The loaner we had used to go up had a sun roof so I was able to stand in the car hanging out the window and sunroof to get some nice shots.
Everyone lined up at Area 51 (Rest Area in Canterbury, at mile marker 51)
Sign at the bottom of the mountain. It makes me laugh.
Waiting patiently to start our treck up!
Everyone lined up again at the top of the mountain. Just look at that view!!
Just look at that sunset! At the tipy-top of the mountain!
On the way down we stopped to take some more pictures.
Here is the sunset again with another MINI that stopped.
Look at how little they look!!
