Haylie Christmas 2009

Here is the 2009 set of Christmas pictures for one of my favorite little girls Haylie. I can't believe how big she has gotten in a year!

Looking at the pretty ornament
Eating a gummy that Mom used as a bribe. Love it when babies get bribed.
See my pretty tights?
Such a great looking family! I love these guys!

Katie, Kyle & Spencer

My younger sister went to high school with Katie and Kyle. They wanted to have me do some pictures of the two of them and Kyle's cousin because they are all really close friends. We went down to Lake Waukewan in Meredith. It was a very cold morning in December, but we got some really nice photos.
There was a set of railroad tracks byt the lake, so I had to take advantage of the tracks.

See, I said I had to take advantage of the tracks.
I love the idea of the hands in the back pockets.
They were total goofballs, but goofballs with each other. This is one of my favorite shots ever!

Family Shots

My mother has been in touch with some of her high school friends that she has reconnected with over the past couple months on Facebook. One of her friends, Marcia, was looking for some family portraits to be done. Mom sent her some of my portfolio. After she saw it, she really wanted me, so here are some from their family shots.
Also added her brother and his family in for a nice big family picture for their Mom for Christmas. They were a great family!

Kim & Jeremy

Kim and Jeremy's wedding was another that I was the second photographer for. They got married at the Union Club in Boston, MA. They were my first Jewish wedding I've photographed, and I hope not my last. Kim was such a happy and gorgeous bride. There wasn't a moment where she wasn't smiling.

Remnants of their bridal shower the night before.
I loved these shoes. She actually kept them on the entire night of dancing.

Looking gorgeous while getting her hair done.

Her Mother helping her put her Grandmother's necklace on.

Such a happy couple. They just knew exactly how to pose the entire time.

Lovely bouquet of roses.

Holding hands while waiting to sign the Ketubah.

The Rabbi signing the Ketubah just after all of the family sang to them.

Under the Chupah together with the Rabbi.

The last dance of the night with everyone watching. They were even beautiful after the long day.

Whitney & Paul

This was one of the weddings I was the secondary photographer for. Whitney and Paul got married at Wequasset Resort in Mass. This place was just so gorgeous with the old Colonial buildings and the beach right there for some beautiful photos. Even though it was in the middle of October the flowers were still brightly colored and alive.

They were such a beautiful couple too. Very photogenic!

I really loved her bouquet. It was just so colorful and it stood out in the light from the incoming storm.

Got a rainbow in the background. There was a big storm coming up from the ocean so it made for some cold and windy formals. But it didn't phase them at all.
The wedding party was another story. But at this point it was just starting to rain so everyone ran inside to stay dry. I know I wouldn't want to sit in soaking wet dress or tux for an entire wedding.
During the toasts at the reception, Whitney's father and brother did a toast. In the middle of it they sang to her. It was the sweetest thing having Dad singing. I teared up while getting the photos. It was a late night getting home after driving from the Cape, but so worth it. They are such a beautiful couple. The photographer I was working with is amazing to work with too.
