Minis On Top

For those of you who really know me, you know I'm a little nutty about my MINI Cooper. And most other MINI Cooper owners are just as crazy. So every year for the past couple there has been an even called Minis On Top, where in the end of June about 200-350 Minis converge on a small town in northern New Hampshire for some really fun twisty rides to conclude with a ride up the Mount Washington Auto Road. Last year when we went up it was really foggy, so we couldn't really see anything. This year it was windy enough that as soon as the fog came in, the wind blew it away.
Jamie drove up this year so I could take some pictures. The loaner we had used to go up had a sun roof so I was able to stand in the car hanging out the window and sunroof to get some nice shots.
Everyone lined up at Area 51 (Rest Area in Canterbury, at mile marker 51)
Sign at the bottom of the mountain. It makes me laugh.
Waiting patiently to start our treck up!
Everyone lined up again at the top of the mountain. Just look at that view!!
Just look at that sunset! At the tipy-top of the mountain!
On the way down we stopped to take some more pictures.
Here is the sunset again with another MINI that stopped.
Look at how little they look!!

Lisa & Kenny

Shortly after the girls' birthdays, Haylie's parents got married. In May, Lisa and Kenny got married at Promises to Keep in Derry, NH. Absolutely gorgeous ceremony and a very fun reception (it helped that I knew pretty much everyone!)
This was my first wedding by myself, and I loved the fact that it was these two. They are so much fun and so much in love! I don't think I took my finger off the shutter for more than a couple seconds. I took so many pictures! The day turned out to be a beautiful day. The sun was shining through the whole ceremony and formals, and didn't get cloudy until everyone was inside for the reception.
Here are some of the girls getting ready.
Big Kenny helping little Kenny on with his Tux
Just a couple from the ceremony.
Some of my best formals came from this wedding.

I just love this picture from the Reception.

Haylie Turns 1!

A week after Kaelyn turned One, my other favorite girl turned one as well. So cute how the two cousins are a only a week apart. During Haylie's party though, she was a little sick so in a bit of a bad mood, but you know, it was her party and she could cry if she wanted to.

Here is a picture of her juuust learning to walk at her party.

Opening up a present, I think it was a new dolly. Just look at her face!!

Ooo, new convertible!! This a foreshadow of birthdays to come??

Little one trying to enjoy her cake, but still not feeling so hot.

Kaelyn's Birthday

One of my favorite little girls, Kaelyn turned 1 in April. There were SO many kids and people there. It was like a mad house. Her mom is a crazy lady inviting soo many kids over! But everyone had tons of fun, and tons of sugar!!
Looking at her cake for the first time!

Trying to figure this tasty thing out...

Sharing some cake with Daddy!!

Look at my new toy!!! Nice 4 wheeler! Maybe next year will be a dirt bike like Mom & Dad's!

This car said ages 3 and up. She had it figured out by the next day. Smart little girl!

Kaelyn & Haylie Christmas

Here are two of my favorite little girls ever from last Christmas pictures. This is from when they were about 6 month old. They've gotten SO big since then!

Kaelyn:Haylie:I'll be doing their Christmas pictures for this year soon.

Beth & Todd

Beth and Todd got married on 10/18/2008 in North Conway. This was the 2nd wedding for that weekend that I helped Myndi with. Beth and Todd were a very fun couple. They got married outside and the foliage couldn't have been more gorgeous. It was another very long day, but worth it. I knew after this weekend of two 14 hour days going off of 4-5 hours of sleep, wearing the wrong shoes, and driving all over NH & MA that this is what I wanted to do. I wanted to be apart of people's special days and photograph their weddings.

Here are some of my favorite images from this wedding.

Carrie & Kevin

Carrie and Kevin got married on 10/17/2008. Carrie is the cousin of the photographer (Myndi B) that I helped for that 2 days-2 Weddings weekend. This was my first wedding ever. I just had one simple camera (Canon xTi) with 2 lenses, and pretty much nothing else. I think I've come quite a long way in a year. :-)

Here are some images from it, I'm sure everyone has seen these at least once.
