I met Jennifer through one of the training sessions at the station. She was being one of the "victims" that needed to be rescued from the smashed up cars when they were doing the Extrication Demos. She is the wife of one of the firefighters and an actress. When her and I were talking about things, she mentioned to me that she needed some head shots. We finally got together the other day to get some. It was a gorgeous day out. We met up in Holderness, NH at the gazebo behind the post office which is a great location. We started at the gazebo but with the beautiful landscaping around it, we had to move around.

Katie's Belly Photos
A friend of mine's daughter is pregnant and wanted me to get some belly photos before she had the little man. She is only about 37 weeks along, but she looks like she is ready any day!
It is amazing how close her belly and the basketball look. They are almost the same size!
He already has his first pair of Air Jordans!
She is such a beautiful prego! I just love how perfect her belly looks!
Just Soon-to-be-Momma sitting in her gliding chair. His room was so cute with all the sports stuff everywhere!
Daddy listening to his little man!
Just a nice shot of them sitting on the steps.Chris teaching Tristan how to play ball already. Going to be a sports star!

Tabitha & Chey
Tabitha is a very close friend of my family. She wanted to do some updated photos of herself and her children. One of her children weren't able to make it Wednesday afternoon, but we will do more with him once he has some free time (teenagers are busy busy creatures.)
Even though it was very hot out on Wednesday, Tabitha wanted to get a couple shots with her leather coat on. After only a couple she got a little hot so we moved on. She didn't mean to look away from the camera like that, but I really liked the way the face worked with the pose, so I kept it.
Her daughter Chey is full of attitude (I think she gets it from her Mom), but it totally works for her. She has such a great personality. You can really see some of it through these photographs.
Newfound Lake was so beautiful at this time of the night. The sun had started to set, but there was still plenty of light.
Like I said, here is some of the personality coming through. This pose makes her look older than she is.
Chey was really a natural when it came to posing. I had to give her very little direction. She pretty much posed herself. I love the sweetness you can see in this photo.
Tabitha ending up looking away from me again, but I loved the way the image came out. The way the sun was shining onto her face just made the photo.
Stacie & Roy Engagement
Stacie and Roy are one of my couples getting married this year. They are going to be getting married in October at the Pheasant Ridge Country Club in Gilford, NH. In the middle of May we went down to Prescott Park in Portsmouth to do their engagement portraits. Stacie and Roy went to the park a lot as kids, and go now during the summer for concerts and plays. The park had some special memories for them. Stacie and I were worried it was going to be a rainy day since it had been pouring the couple days before hand and was quite cloudy in the morning. But since we were right on the ocean, it was windy enough to blow all the clouds away so we were able to get a beautiful, sunny day.
There was a gorgeous flower garden in the park just begining to bloom. Some of the trees in the garden had the most interesting branches. I loved the way the branches curled around to almost hug the couple.

I had to have a shot of her engagement ring. It was such a pretty ring. So I made Roy pretend he was asking her again.
This is the whale they had me meet them by when I got there. It was a very popular place for parents to take photos of their children sitting on it. They had both loved sitting on it when they were children so I had to include it in.
The water and the sky were just perfect that day. The way the sun was shining through the clouds made them look a little pink and purple. I love this shot how they are looking into forever together.
There was this gorgeous old house right in the park that I had to get some photos in front of. So to change things up I had them walking away together holding hands.
Sitting and cuddling on the bench together. It was starting to get a little chilly with the wind blowing so hard.
The park was full of fountains all over the park, but this one was the only one working since it was so early in the season. Roy is throwing in a coin to make a wish. I wonder what his wish was.
